About Olivia

I am 20 year old attending the University of Portland. I just finished my second year studying Elementary Education and Middle School Math. Both my parents are teachers so I am very familiar with education and teaching. I love math, especially Algebra. On my free time, I like to play soccer, read, and spend time with friends and family.

About the lesson

I start my lessons with a warm up, generally created from what we worked on at the last meeting. As well as, brushing up on basic skills. I like to use the homework or assignments that the student has been assigned to make sure the student understands what they are doing in class and we can get the weekly homework done. Then I will generate additional questions based on the content of the weekly assignments and additional support the student and parent requests. One of my strengths is being able to keep a child engaged. I am very flexible and willing to support in any way you feel works for you.
