About Garrett

I am an EMT-Paramedic with valuable career experience in the medical sciences. I am currently attending the University of Washington in the Biomedical Sciences program as well as certify/instruct Basic Life Support and First Aid in Washington State. I love to help people gain a clear picture of what they are learning, to conquer their fears, and also to make it fun!

About the lesson

I am career professional and a lifelong student tutoring for high school through early college level course work. As both a student and instructor, I know the importance and techniques for using memory cues to make information truly stick. In my experience, medicine and science in general have two things in common. One must first master topic organization, then make the concept their own through the ability to explain the topic themselves. I am a firm believer in one's desire to learn and its power to propel towards success. Having a tutor that is passionate about the topic and truly wants to see the knowledge come alive can be quite contagious. Lets get started!
