About Zachary
I am a Creative Writing undergraduate student at Susquehanna University, PA, though I reside in New Jersey. I've been writing creatively (mostly novels and short stories) since the first grade, and in high school I was the president of a literary club of writers and artists. I also attended the Iowa Young Writers Program, which taught me a lot about literary analysis and story, and have been published in the literary magazines Catfish Creek, RiverCraft, Tangled Web, Variety Pack, and elsewhere.

I'm a student myself, so I'll attempt to emulate the teaching methods that have benefited me, such as: open dialogue over the topic at hand, a measured and non-judgmental system of criticism, and high levels of engagement with the subject itself. The crux of the lessons will be cooperation between myself and the student to increase understanding and discover new perspectives, not a simple one-sided transaction of information.
