About James
James Braun is a 2024 Graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he won the John Logan Poetry Prize. His work has appeared in The Missouri Review, Fiction International, Puerto del Sol, DIAGRAM, Minnesota Review, filling Station, Bayou Magazine, and elsewhere. Braun is a Pushcart Prize nominee and the recipient of the Herbert L. Hughes short story award. He received funding from James Patterson while at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
