I am a creative writer / novelist . I have been on this landscape for about decades . My 14 years as an English language teaching in secondary school added to my fertility.

About Lasekan
Throughout my primary, secondary and university education , I had been representing them in essay / literacy competition . In 1981 , I won the gold award at Higher School Certificate level in the national essay competition to mark the World Environment Day .
My English teaching career spanned a period of I5 years of classroom teaching / conduct of oral /marking scripts of the West African School Certificate in English .
As a matter of fact, a notable number of my ex - students have taken teaching of English as career prospects; one as a university lecturer ! One of them is the editor of a renowned youth magazine in Nigeria.
I was also a registered facilitator in the 1991 population census in Nigeria .
I was for some years , the Head of the Workers Directorate of a wing of a global church called the Redeemed Christian Church of God. I was responsible for the training of new workers.

My 1st strategy is to teach / acquaint the students with the vocabulary load of the subject / title matter . 2nd , after the vocabulary load drilling , is the vocabulary in- built dexterity exercise . 3rd is the one - by - one interaction of the students with me . 4th is the overall display of the valid subject / title . 5th , is the general question mark from the students and me . 6th is the conclusion : allocation of subject / title driving assignments to the students .
