About Karo
I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 9 years of professional tutoring experience, committed to helping students of all levels achieve their language learning goals. Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully taught around 150–200 students, including school learners, university students, professionals, and adult learners. Every student has unique learning needs, so I believe personalised learning is the most effective way to build confidence and long-term success.
My lessons are carefully planned to match each student's abilities, interests, and objectives. I focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while encouraging students to communicate naturally through practical conversations, interactive exercises, and real-life examples. I also introduce Spanish culture and everyday expressions to make lessons more engaging and relevant.
I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practising without fear, and learning from mistakes. I believe that patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement help learners stay motivated. I regularly evaluate progress, provide detailed feedback, and adjust lesson plans to ensure every student continues improving at a comfortable pace.
One of my unique strengths is designing personalised learning strategies that make difficult concepts easier to understand. I simplify grammar rules, provide customised practice materials, and encourage independent learning outside the classroom. Additionally, I integrate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies, giving students practical context for real-life Spanish use.
My goal is to help learners achieve fluency, confidence, and a genuine passion for the language.
