About Karishma

I’m Karishma, an experienced educator with almost 10 years of teaching experience in both offline and online classrooms. I have taught students from Grades 1–8 and have experience working with both IB and CBSE curricula.

Over the years, I have learned that every child learns differently. I take time to understand how a learner thinks, what motivates them, and where they need support, and then adapt my teaching approach accordingly.

My classes are interactive, activity-based, and focused on building strong concepts rather than memorizing answers. I use real-life examples, storytelling, questioning, visual learning, mind maps, games, and hands-on activities to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.

My belief is simple: I don’t teach every child the same way—I teach each child in the way they learn best. My goal is to help learners become confident, curious, independent, and excited about learning.

About the lesson

My classes are designed to make learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable for young learners. I believe children learn best when they are curious, involved, and encouraged to ask questions.

I use a child-centered and activity-based approach, combining storytelling, real-life examples, games, mind maps, hands-on activities, discussions, and visual learning. I focus on building strong concepts rather than simply memorizing answers.

A typical class begins with a quick warm-up or recap, followed by introducing the concept through an interesting situation or question. Students then explore the topic through activities and guided practice before applying what they have learned independently. Each class ends with a short reflection to help students understand what they learned and what they can improve.

As a teacher, I focus on creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels comfortable participating. I adapt my teaching pace and methods according to each learner's needs and learning style.

My classes are especially suitable for primary school students (Grades 1–5) who need support with concepts, homework, reading, writing, English grammar, mathematics, and general academic skills.

My goal is not just to help children score better, but to help them become confident, curious, independent, and enthusiastic learners.
