About Imene

Bonjour! I'm a native French speaker from Paris, currently based in London, where I’ve been living and working for the past 8 years. I am a qualified Architect, Stage Director, and Actress, and I bring all of these diverse experiences into my teaching to make each lesson rich, dynamic, and tailored to your needs. My passion for languages, communication, and creativity naturally led me to teaching. I understand how challenging — and rewarding — it can be to learn a new language, especially in a busy, multicultural city like London. That’s why I aim to make every class not only educational, but also engaging and motivating. I have worked with learners of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to advanced students, including professionals preparing for work in French-speaking environments and young learners preparing for school exams. My goal is to help you gain confidence, fluency, and a real connection with the French language and culture. You can count on me for professionalism, patience, and a positive learning environment. Whether you're learning French for travel, career, education, or personal growth, I’ll guide you with care, creativity, and a structured approach that gets results.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker with a rich background in architecture and theatre, I offer a dynamic and personalised approach to language learning. My teaching blends structure and creativity — whether you're aiming for fluency, preparing for exams, or simply exploring French culture. My methodology is student-centred and adaptable. I tailor each lesson to your goals, level, and learning style. I combine conversational practice, grammar foundations, vocabulary building, and cultural insights to ensure a well-rounded and engaging experience. With my experience as a stage director and actress, I often use role-playing, storytelling, and real-life dialogues to make learning natural and enjoyable — especially helpful for boosting confidence in speaking. Lesson Structure: Typical lessons last 1 hour (longer sessions available upon request) Includes speaking, listening, reading, and writing components I provide feedback, resources, and optional homework to reinforce progress Who I teach: All levels: from complete beginners to advanced speakers All ages: children, teens, and adults Specialised lessons available: conversation, business/professional French, pronunciation coaching, creative writing, or exam prep (GCSE, A-Level, DELF/DALF) With over 8 years living and working in London and a multidisciplinary background, I bring both academic precision and artistic flair to my lessons.
