About Kahinee
I am an experienced Flute tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience, working with School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academic study, personal enjoyment, or professional growth. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centred, with strong focus on correct breathing techniques, posture alignment, finger coordination, tone development, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression.
I believe that building a strong foundation helps students progress with confidence and clarity. Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation to support overall musical development. I also assist students with exam preparation and stage confidence. My goal is to help students enjoy learning flute, improve steadily, and develop a lifelong connection with music.

I use a flexible and creative teaching methodology for flute that combines clear communication, student engagement, and supportive learning. I explain each concept in simple language and demonstrate techniques so students can learn effectively. Open communication is encouraged so students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing difficulties.
Creativity is included through warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone-building practice, improvisation, and expressive music to make lessons engaging and motivating. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, learning speed, and goals, whether they are preparing for exams, performances, or learning for enjoyment. Flute lessons include breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Additionally, I teach related subjects such as music theory, rhythm training, ear training, note reading, and performance skills to support complete musical growth.
