About Christina
I am an experienced Artist Educator with over 20 years working across formal and informal education settings. After completing my PGCE at Middlesex University, I began teaching in Hackney, progressing to Head of Faculty and borough Lead Teacher, delivering CPD and supporting school improvement. Since 2011, I have worked freelance across schools, youth services and community organisations, delivering workshops, consultancy and public art projects. My specialism is ceramics, with a strong focus on inclusive, co-designed practice. I hold a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism and am committed to sustainability, access and widening creative opportunities.

My tutoring approach is creative, structured and tailored to each learner. With extensive experience in classroom teaching, senior leadership and education consultancy, I combine clear objectives, practical demonstrations and constructive feedback to build both technical skill and creative confidence.
Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes and are carefully paced to balance guidance with independent exploration. I am a trained DfE Early Career Mentor and Induction Tutor bringing professional art practice into my teaching. I work with primary and secondary pupils, GCSE and A Level students, adults and early career teachers, supporting skill development, portfolio preparation and exam success.
