About Edgar

I am a fantasy character and creature artist, sculptor, and 3D modeler with a realistic and stylized approach. I have worked as a university instructor, teaching software workflows alongside fundamental and advanced 3D modeling and digital sculpting techniques. A passionate gamer and an artist by vocation, I bring imagination and technical precision together in my work.

This course focuses on the complete workflow for creating optimized, production-ready 3D assets for video games, combining strong artistic foundations with efficient technical practices used in real-time engines.

Maya and Zbrush the best industry standard 3d software. Both are powerful enough to get Rain close to her goal. If she is interested in creating high-quality models and creatures, Zbrush is her tool; if she is more into animation, Maya will do the job.

I fell in love with this fantastic new technology, and since then, I haven't been without a laptop or workstation.
2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
Was 3D Modelling, and since it advances in other areas, such as VFX, Medicine, and cinematography
3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I have been professionally working with computers since 2010, I have ITLA qualifications and a CompTIA A+ Certification
4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
I don't take them as inspiration, but what they have created and achieved is admirable.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
During my time at school, I was always interested in fixing devices and playing video games, so I was the techy guy in class who helped others fix or install anything on their laptops.
6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
I always said IT is not complicated, it's just a matter of taking action to overcome and not be overwhelmed
7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
Art, Design, and Videogames.
