About Natalie

I’m a French studies graduate who lived and worked in France for three years. I have a first-class honours degree in French studies with a distinction in spoken French. I am a qualified teacher with both QTS status and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Language teaching! I have taught students from primary to university both French and English language both in the UK and in France.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is enjoy what you’re learning and you’ll learn better. I take the humdrum out of learning a language by tailoring your learning to your existing interests in your native language. Listen, listen, listen! Comprehension is key to oral improvement so listen as much as you can in the target language. Finally, GO FOR IT! I always make sure my students feel 100% comfortable to make mistakes and TRY. If you want a really patient and understanding teacher who’s been in your shoes and knows how you progress through - I’m your lady!

Perfect! Natalie is a fantastic tutor, the lessons are very fulfilling and she knows how to make the most of the time focusing on key areas. She is very experienced in French tuition and I am enjoying my time developing under her.
