About KIAN
I love food. So much so that I decided to change my career path from electrical engineering to chefing some 20 years ago.
I guess because of my engineering background I tend to learn by understanding the science behind cooking. How heat affects food? What does oil do in this recipe? Why this? Not that? Etc
I think I'm ready to share some of what I have learnt over the years and hope I can inspire some food enthusiasts. Show them how fun it is when you know why in cooking and how flexible you can be with your cooking.

Why do we follow recipes? Why some people seem to cook so confidently without a recipe? I have learnt a lot about cooking as a chef for many years. I don't claim to know all about cooking but I know some tips and tricks I'd love share with you so you can be a more confident cook.
