About Charlena
Year 11 and 12 students preparing for VCE or HSC LOTE comprise the core of my teaching practice. I am an Australian Latin-American diaspora Spanish teacher.
My work centers on helping you master GRAMMAR and everyday phrases for beginners. These 6 years of experience have taught me how to navigate the complexities of language acquisition for adult learners and exam candidates alike. I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics from RMIT.
Often I find that students struggle with the nuance of cultural context, which I address through my own lived experience. Whether we are tackling verb conjugation or casual idioms, I ensure the process remains grounded. Helping you connect with your heritage or academic goals is my pleasure. Hasta pronto.
