About Dr Cherrie

I have been an educator for over 20 years. I have been working as an online tutor of conversational English off and on for over 5 years. I have taught over 150 students - some who have come to America for University -
I have had the pleasure of meeting some of my students when they have traveled to America - it is such a pleasure to experience their success first hand as we converse in my native tongue.

About the lesson

I hold several undergraduate degrees, English, Social Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work among them - I am a fully certified New Jersey State Teacher in Three areas k-8, Secondary and Special Education k - 12. I have a Masters Degree in Education from Marygrove College and a Doctorate from Queens University - Belfast, Ireland.
I develop my lessons based on the level of my students. I have been an online instructor for Conversational English for students under the age of 5 all the way up to the COO of a corporation. I listen for correct pronunciation as well as correct grammar. My students work hard and have fun while they learn. I structure my lessons to include review of materials, introduction of new materials and free talk so that my students can demonstrate their understanding of the materials they have been presented with. Success is always my strategy!
