I consider myself to be an accomplished and versatile tutor with an extensive knowledge and experience of teaching with an interest of low achievers.My approach to tutoring is my biggest priority as a tutor to make learning rewarding.
I have gained a Diploma from Stone bridge College to teach mathematics. I prefer to start off by assessing a student to gauge their level of performance and to identify their weak areas. After that I am able to develop a lesson plan tailored to their needs. My skill set also includes practical and creative methods of approaching learning for younger students.
My experience covers a variety of different ages and stages ( KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 , GCSE) Students I helped with SATS and GCSE passed with excellent results.
I offer a friendly, solid foundation in music. This can be built upon and developed as a hobby, as a next step up or for the more serious student, as a means of achieving full examination accreditation. From the very beginning students will learn the importance of hand movement and posture. Students will become well versed in playing by sight and by ear as they learn to recognize the look and sound of notes. The final goal of my sight reading techniques is for the student to confidently play any piece they select. I have an extensive knowledge of music theory from basics to advanced concepts. I can also help you to fill the gaps in your knowledge.
