About Zaq
Hi I'm Zaq, I'm a full-time Music Producer that would love to share my passion with you! I'm 23 and have been running my production agency full-time since 2021 and I serve both independent and signed artists. Even though I am a music producer I've been playing classical piano since I was 5 and attended the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for 4 years with a heavy focus in music production, composition, recording and music theory. Through my education I have developed a strong understanding of both the fundamental concepts of music (harmony, theory etc.) as well as deep knowledge of the technical aspects of music production from engineering all the way to microphone techniques. I believe in a highly customisable lesson plan. That's why I use my classical training and professional experience to tailor the lesson plan to help achieve the student's goals and aspirations. Lessons are either 1 or 2 hours and can be conducted online, or at my home studio in Birmingham City Centre. Lessons are for any and all levels as I have experience teaching absolute beginners the basics all the way up to label quality productions. Qualifications/Experience: - Full-time producer and owner of agency since 2021. - Engineer at world-class Recording Facility (Summerfield Studios) - 1st class honours graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. - Ran a music production education service during my final year at university. - Teaching experience at Sol Passion Music. - Overall 1st in my Pedagogy Modules.
