About Wiktoria

I am a graduate from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and postgraduate studies at Musikene in San Sebastian with Marco Socías. I made a PhD at the Academy of Music in Łodź.
I am prize winner of several international classical guitar competitions as soloist and as chamber music player.

I made my debut at the age of 16 with Maestro Wojciech Rajski and the Polish Radio Orchestra at the Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio in Warsaw as one of the finalists of the Polish edition of the Eurovision Contest for Young Musicians.

I performed in leading festivals and venues in Europe (UK, Spain, France, Germany, Poland) and South America (Chile,Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina) receiving outstanding reviews for her many solo concerts. I played as a soloist with the philharmonic orchestras of Zielona Góra, Kalisz, Rzeszów.

In 2015 I performed Fantasia para un gentilhombre by Joaquin Rodrigo with Teresa Carreño Youth Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela in Caracas under the direction of Cesar Ivan Lara, celebrating the Day od Europe and the 40th Anniversary of El Sistema. In 2016 I performed Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo with Orquesta del Teatro Regional del Maule during Entrecuerdas Guitar Festival in Chile.

During my musical education I had also studied with famous guitar virtuosos such as Carlo Marchione, Pavel Steidl, Odair Assad, Thomas Müller-Pering, Marcin Dylla, Łukasz Kuropaczewski and Tomasz Zawierucha.

I have been honoured with scholarships from the Polish Minister of Culture, the cities of Wroclaw and Warsaw and from The National Herritage Fund.

In the fall of 2015 I released her debut album „Victoria” on Soliton Poland, with Chaconne by J.S. Bach, Valses poeticos by E. Granados, Suite mistica by V. Asencio and Sonatina by F. Moreno-Torroba.

I regularly teach guitar at international music courses, master classes and workshops. I am a founder of Music Place, music school based in Warsaw.

About the lesson

I am teaching kids, teens and adults from beginners to advanced.
I am fully qualified classical guitarist, so we will learn classical guitar technique and lots of beautiful (not only classical) music.

What is important to me if it comes to teaching?

I want you to become self aware during playing, confident and really, really happy because of the music you play. I can prepare for you arrangement of any piece you wish to learn, we don't need to stick only for classics :)
