About Tanisha

I am a Math tutor with a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and more than seven years of experience. My passion lies in helping IB and A-Level students succeed in their exams. I teach with a focus on conceptual clarity, so students gain lasting understanding. I encourage flexible problem-solving by showing multiple approaches to questions. Past paper practice is an essential part of my method, preparing learners for real exam conditions. My areas of expertise are Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, which I break down into clear, simple steps. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s unique needs. My sessions are patient, encouraging, and designed to build confidence. I believe progress comes from steady effort and a strong foundation. Over time, students develop both skills and independence. Many of my learners have gone on to achieve results they once thought impossible. I make sure every lesson contributes to exam readiness. About the lesson

My teaching approach to math is practical and relaxed. I use coding logic and algorithmic thinking as foundations for problem-solving. Discrete mathematics and computational processes are explained in ways that fit naturally into the digital world. By using programming analogies, I make challenging concepts easy to understand. Students begin to see math as a tool for coding and logic. I support learners who think like Architects, shaping big ideas, and Proof Seekers, who dive into detail. Each lesson is structured but adaptable to individual needs. Complex problems are simplified into steps learners can follow. Visuals, coding comparisons, and real-world examples make sessions engaging. Feedback is always clear and constructive. I encourage open discussion so learners feel comfortable explaining ideas. Confidence grows as understanding deepens. The goal is not just passing tests but using math as part of digital problem-solving. Together, we bring math into everyday digital life.
