About Tawana

I have completed an undergraduate course in computer science, a subject which caught my attention during secondary school and has continued since. Independently I have learnt to programme simple video games using the Unity3D engine and have honed and refined those skills during my further study. My experience with the C# language has been in games design, which I've been involved in for 6 years now. My skills in Java have been built in my higher education and what has transferred from my time with C#. I look forward to sharing my experience with all my students, conducting them through the best methods of learning that I've discovered.

About the lesson

Structured approach to learning beginning with the most simple aspects of programming and increasing in complexity as lessons continue. Core aims being to get students comfortable with programming as a whole by building transferable skills using Java and C#. Secondly, to have them build problem-solving skills that they will learn to apply computational techniques to. Finally, understand proper and professional practices for formatting and legibility of code.
