About Leon

My passion for programming began when I discovered how logical instructions could create meaningful digital solutions. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Software Engineering, where I developed strong foundations in software design and problem-solving. Over 13 years of teaching, I have guided learners from uncertainty to confidence through patient and structured instruction. I believe programming should be taught in a way that feels approachable and encouraging. My teaching style emphasizes adaptability, clear breakdowns, and understanding the reasoning behind every line of code. I encourage exploration and learning through mistakes. Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with programming through personal projects, emerging technologies, and continuous learning. These experiences keep my lessons practical and current. Teaching programming is deeply fulfilling because I see students grow into confident, independent thinkers who trust their logical abilities.

About the lesson

Computer programming lessons focus on helping learners understand how structured logic transforms ideas into functional programs. I guide students through programming fundamentals such as variables, control flow, functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms using clear explanations and practical examples. Lessons emphasize reasoning, code readability, and step-by-step thinking rather than rote memorization.

Each lesson is customized to the learner’s background. Beginners focus on logical thinking, syntax basics, and understanding program flow. Intermediate learners develop debugging skills, modular design, and confidence in building larger programs. Advanced learners work on optimization, project architecture, APIs, and interview or exam preparation. Hands-on coding practice, guided corrections, and reflective discussion are core parts of every lesson.

Programming lessons also build valuable life skills. Students develop patience, resilience, and structured thinking habits that extend beyond coding. As learners see their ideas come to life through programs, their confidence and creativity grow. My goal is to help students feel capable of learning technology independently and solving complex problems with clarity.
