About Selena

I am a Computer Programming tutor with 10 years of experience and a PhD in Software Engineering. I enjoy helping students discover that programming becomes easier when every concept is learned through practical experience and patient guidance.

My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, interactive coding practice, and continuous encouragement. I create lessons that help students build confidence while improving their ability to think logically and solve technical challenges independently.

Outside teaching, I enjoy developing software applications, learning emerging programming technologies, and contributing to coding communities. These interests help me keep my lessons current while introducing students to valuable real-world programming knowledge.

About the lesson

My Computer Programming lessons help students understand programming by combining logical thinking with practical coding experience. We study Python, HTML, C programming, programming basics, variables, operators, loops, conditional statements, functions, arrays, and simple algorithms using easy explanations and hands-on activities. Every lesson encourages learners to understand the purpose behind each programming concept while building confidence through consistent practice. I believe programming becomes enjoyable when students can create their own working solutions.

As learners become more experienced, we explore debugging, modular programming, basic object-oriented programming, file handling, program testing, website fundamentals, coding projects, logical problem-solving, and software development practices through structured exercises. Each lesson includes coding tasks that encourage creativity and independent thinking while improving technical accuracy. Guided feedback, revision projects, and coding reviews help students strengthen both confidence and programming ability.

My goal is to help students become capable programmers who enjoy solving practical problems through technology. Every lesson develops logical reasoning, creativity, and technical skills that prepare learners for future education and careers.
