About Audrey

I have 10 years of experience teaching Computer Programming, supporting learners from their first steps in coding to advanced development skills. I earned an M.Sc in Computer Science, which provided me with deep understanding of algorithms, software systems, and computational thinking. Over the years, I have guided students in building strong foundations that allow them to grow into confident programmers who can approach challenges with clarity and structured reasoning.

My teaching philosophy centers on adaptability, patience, and empowerment. I break down complex programming topics into manageable steps, using analogies, visual explanations, and guided practice. I encourage students to understand the deeper logic behind programming so they can apply knowledge flexibly in new situations. Whether students are preparing for exams, building projects, or exploring programming for future careers, I provide supportive instruction that meets their pace and goals.

Outside of teaching, I remain engaged with programming through continual learning, exploring new technologies, and developing personal projects. Teaching programming is meaningful because it gives learners one of the most valuable tools of the modern world. My goal is to help students build confidence, creativity, and independence as they grow into skilled and motivated programmers.

About the lesson

Computer Programming becomes far more approachable when students realize that coding is simply structured problem solving expressed through a programming language. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners develop clarity in logic, strong foundations in syntax, and confidence in building solutions step by step. We explore programming through practical exercises, guided projects, and real-world examples that make concepts easier to understand. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and improving steadily.

Lessons are always tailored to the student’s level. Beginners start with variables, loops, conditions, and basic program flow. Intermediate students strengthen debugging, modular thinking, object-oriented programming, and project organization. Advanced learners explore algorithms, data structures, optimization, APIs, and preparation for interviews or advanced coursework. Each session emphasizes understanding why code works, ensuring learners develop independence rather than memorizing patterns.

Programming is a powerful modern skill that builds creativity, resilience, and analytical thinking. As students progress, they begin to see how coding can bring ideas to life and open pathways to technology careers. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by programming, confident in their ability to solve problems, and excited to explore innovation through software.
