About David

I've been programming for over 10 years in various languages for various environments. Predominantly, cross-platform, Windows, and Android apps. As mentioned, I have junior-senior work experience (3 years) in a professional environment, and over 7 throughout my high school and college education. I'm also an ambitious self-learner and am currently teaching myself higher maths (eg. calculus, linear algebra, data science statistics, machine learning algos).

About the lesson

Do you want to learn computer science and math with someone who is passionate about education? As a computer science grad and future engineering student at the RMC, I can say confidently that I am your man.

I have work experience with C# on Windows and Java on Android. I can teach you C++. But maybe you want to get into Web development. So you ask... "how do I send information over HTTP"? I can show you that, too. But then I ask over what environment? And what framework? The world of computer science is large. And over time you'll find that no matter what language you use, everything bridges together.

If you are a newbie I can easily break you into computer science. If you want to know my education plan for you, send me an invite and we'll discuss and then formulate a knowledge roadmap for your desired goals.

Perfect! This was the first meeting that I had with David, and I felt comfortable talking with him. Throughout our conversation I found David professional and responsive my questions and immediate goals. He gave me a snapshot of his software background and we spoke of the concerns that I’d having with my very limited software background. It was a comfortable conversation and I look forward to my upcoming sessions with David.
