About JB

My name is JB, I am a French musician, Producer, performer, DJ, multi-media artist and music globe-trotter.
I have participated in many musical groups since the early 2000s (Lovely Rita, Le Bonhomme Rouge, Manawa ...)

In 2013, I decided to give birth to his own artistic identity: Dipolair
In 2013, in parallel with my band Manawa formed in Mauritius, I created “Men vs Machines” with Swal, another French producer. Our duo will create a powerful live set of electronic music.

In 2015, after moving to Asia, I created “Kalikot”, a live performance of electronic music, which combines sound, light and video projection. The same year, I formed the duo “NMation” with the Canado-Philippine singer Nykó Macá. The project is based on the mix between electronic music, tropical sounds from Africa, Brazil and Caribbean rhythms. In parallel, I am developing a series of performances called “Polycyclic” whose main theme is the concept of Cycle / Loops, with collaborations with beatboxers, dancers, painters and actors.

In 2016, I produced his first solo album, “Moments”. With this album, I immerse myself in Deep House and Ambient music by highlighting Piano and Synths.

In September 2018, I was awarded a Silver Tanit at the Journées Musicales de Carthage in the Electro category.

At the end of 2018 and after 2 years of creation, I produce and perform the musical and visual show for children "Ouvre tes rêves".

It is on stage that I develop all my potential. From intimate stages to the biggest dancefloors, I ignite the public with a dynamic and spiritual approach of the Deep House and the Melodic House with DJ Sets with ethnic sounds. It is even more present in my Live set “Odyssey”, with machines and acoustic musicians which gives a new dimension to his unique approach to music.

I am in constant search for its performance. He increasingly explores the links between sound, visual and human-machine interactions.

About the lesson

Sound engineer by training, poly-instrumentalist musician, DJ producer and performer, I offer courses tailored to your needs, from sound technique, through music theory, instrumental practice and of course production (composition, arrangements, mixing, mastering).

At ease in different styles, I support you in your artistic project to allow you to produce music in the best conditions and with expertise and know-how allowing you to best develop your creative potential and introduce labels to labels. your music ..
