Many students find mathematics and science tough because we are unable to connect with ourselves. I believe mathematics and science are around us; look at the kitchen (you can learn whole chemistry from there). I always give demonstrations using daily activities, like rocket launching, combining mathematics, statistics, chemistry, and physics.
