About Maya

I have nine years of experience teaching Computer Programming and have helped students gain both technical skill and logical reasoning. My approach is patient, structured, and student-centered, adapting lessons to each learner’s pace and learning style. I tailor instruction to individual needs, whether students respond best to visual demonstrations, hands-on practice, or discussion-based problem-solving. By providing a supportive and encouraging environment, I help learners grow in skill, confidence, and independence. Outside of teaching, I engage with coding projects, follow new technologies, and explore programming methodologies. Bringing real-world experience into lessons helps students see the relevance of coding, and watching them transform into confident, independent programmers is deeply rewarding.

About the lesson

Learning to program is most effective when students can see immediate results and develop problem-solving skills. In my lessons, I start with fundamentals such as variables, loops, functions, conditionals, and basic algorithms. I emphasize understanding the logic behind each step and encourage students to experiment with code, fostering independence and confidence.

As students advance, we cover algorithm design, small project development, debugging strategies, and coding best practices. Lessons include interactive exercises, guided examples, and practical projects that help learners consolidate their understanding and develop logical reasoning. I encourage students to reflect on their approaches, identify errors, and develop efficient solutions.

Advanced sessions focus on larger projects, complex logic, and independent problem-solving. Students develop skills in planning, structuring, and optimizing programs while enhancing their analytical thinking and creativity. My goal is to cultivate not only coding proficiency but also confidence and adaptability, preparing learners for real-world programming challenges.
