About Lana
I am a guitar tutor holding a BM in World Music, Guitar Traditions. For 11 years, I’ve helped students explore metal, shred, and progressive rock. My teaching blends academic insight with hands-on technique. I guide students in developing speed, precision, and advanced shredding techniques. Lessons cover sweep picking, tapping, legato, and fretboard navigation. Young learners strengthen foundations; adults refine intricate skills. Musical phrasing, dynamics, and timing are central to my lessons. Sessions are personalised to meet individual goals. I focus on skill, creativity, and confidence. I teach guitar with an emphasis on practical skills, gear mastery, and musical growth. Lessons cover string changes, setup, electronics, and effects pedals.
