About Addison
I am an experienced French tutor with over 12 years of teaching expertise, working with High School and College learners. My teaching style is centred on personalisation, where I adapt every lesson according to the student’s goals, level, and preferred learning style.
I focus on building strong foundations in grammar while also developing speaking, writing, and listening skills. My lessons are interactive and practical, helping students use French confidently in real-life situations. I also guide students through exam preparation with clear strategies and consistent practice.

My teaching approach for French focuses on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I believe students learn better when they clearly understand concepts and practise them in a creative way. I use storytelling, conversations, and real-life examples to make lessons engaging and easy to follow.
I guide students to think critically by helping them understand grammar patterns and sentence structures. Instead of memorising, they learn how to use the language in different situations. This improves both confidence and accuracy.
As a mentor, I support students with patience and encouragement. I also ensure accountability by setting clear goals, giving regular practice, and tracking their progress carefully.
In addition to French, I can teach related subjects to strengthen overall learning. My goal is to help students become confident and independent learners.
