About Jayne
With 5 years of professional tutoring experience, I teach Saxophone to school students, college learners, and working professionals. I focus on helping students learn music in a structured and enjoyable way.
My teaching philosophy centres on strong fundamentals and clear understanding. I believe that good basics lead to confident playing. I use real-life examples, listening exercises, and step-by-step practice methods to help students learn effectively.
I believe in honest communication and patience. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and comfortable. Regular practice and discipline are important values I guide students to follow.
My saxophone lessons cover breathing control, embouchure development, tone quality, finger techniques, rhythm accuracy, scales, sight reading, and musical expression. I also help students prepare for performances and assessments.
Several of my students have shown consistent improvement and confidence. My goal is to help students enjoy music and grow steadily.

My teaching methodology for saxophone is student-focused and practical. I believe learning music should be meaningful and enjoyable. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect lessons with real musical situations.
I begin by understanding the student’s goals and learning style. Lessons are customised to suit their pace. I focus on correct breathing, tone clarity, finger accuracy, rhythm control, scales, and musical phrasing. Practice routines are simple and effective.
Communication plays an important role in my classes. I explain concepts clearly and encourage students to ask questions. Demonstrations and guided practice help students improve faster.
Integrity is an important part of my teaching approach. I give honest guidance and encourage disciplined practice habits. Along with saxophone training, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and improvisation basics. My goal is to help students become confident saxophone players.
