About Vincent

I have been playing the piano for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a musical family, I naturally adopted music as my form of expression. I was able to deepen this in the "Komponistenklasse Halle," where I composed chamber music pieces, including for an opera. Additionally, I write my own choral works and arrange songs for choirs.

Through my music studies at UdK Berlin, focusing on creativity studies and dance, I learned to understand and teach music by breaking it down into its fundamental elements. You’ll soon see what that means! ;)

I compose many songs myself and perform them on the streets of Germany and many other countries.

About the lesson

We start with pieces you love. Then, we break them down and develop concepts about what your music should achieve and how this has already been implemented. I also take a close look at what you’ve written so far and ask where you want to go artistically from there.

You can start with me even without prior experience. I challenge your creativity with tiny music-writing tasks. Thanks to my experience as a tutor, I can explain music theory in a way that’s easy to understand. However, understanding it is not a requirement. I’m also happy to work through improvisation using simple models that everyone can follow.

My lessons are especially aimed at those seeking a holistic approach. If stress, perfectionism, or boredom have held you back from learning in the past, you’ve come to the right place.
