About Jess
I am currently a 22 year old, second year, law student with A levels in politics, drama and English Literature. I took two gap years in which I taught core subjects to a group of children, setting and marking work throughout the pandemic in a school.
I am very easy going but also a very hard worker and consistently pushed the grades of my students up to the best they could be. I listen to their needs and their learning style and tailor sessions to them and the content they are learning.

With 2 years of previous teaching experience I draw on teaching techniques and ideas structured around the individual learner and their learning style. Each session is unique to both the material and the person.
My lessons are for GCSE level students looking to improve their grades, preferably year 10 and above. Any early learners that wish to improve their grades before year 10 are also welcome!
Further to this, I can also help A level students achieve what they want with my own experiences of English at that level. I was a part of the covid cohort that had their grades chosen for them during the lockdown but I never dropped an A in my mock exams and was predicted as such.
My expectations of you as a student is to allow me to help you by having an open communication stream with your own areas of struggle so we can work together to streamline your tutoring to your preferred areas of improvement.
My sessions can run either online or in person and run for a minimum of half an hour to an hour.
