About Evie
I’ve always found that the best way to properly understand something is to explain it to someone else, and maths especially just makes sense to me in a way I want to pass on. I remember what it’s like sitting in a classroom not quite getting something and being too embarrassed to ask again, so I want to be the person who doesn’t mind explaining it a third or fourth time until it actually sticks. I’m continuing into Electrical Engineering at Cardiff University this September after finishing my foundation year there, and I want to keep that link to maths alive alongside my degree. There’s honestly nothing better than that moment when a topic finally clicks for someone. I’m not trying to lecture, I just want to help people get to a point where they feel confident going into an exam instead of dreading it.
