About Francisco

I’m Francisco! Embarking on the journey of education has been a lifelong passion for me, and I am thrilled to share my expertise with you on this tutoring platform. I went to a community college, and there I learned that having passionate teachers is the very best thing for a classroom, much more than a name brand or fancy technology. I want to deliver the same energy in every one of our tutoring sessions so you can grow to love learning too.

Armed with a bachelor's degree in computer science, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies of the digital world. My academic journey has equipped me not only with theoretical knowledge but also with a practical approach gained through years of industry experience. I give it to you straight and explain how things can be used when you land an industry job, which is a great motivator.

Over the past year, I have honed my teaching skills, working with math and programming students from elementary to college levels in both a programming bootcamp and one on one tutoring environment. Whether it's breaking down algebraic equations or delving into the intricacies of programming languages, I am dedicated to making learning a personalized and engaging experience. I am a very thorough and patient person, always diving deep to make sure you understand everything you wish to learn and more!

Beyond the classroom, I have distinguished myself in the competitive programming arena, bringing my University much glory on the international stage. This accolade not only reflects my passion for problem-solving but also underscores my proficiency in algorithms and data structures. I am particularly adept at navigating the challenges presented by LeetCode, and I am excited to guide students through the maze of coding problems. Let's turn challenges into triumphs, one lesson at a time.

I have also spent a good chunk of time creating cool projects on Unity, let me help you build your game!

About the lesson

I am known to be very thorough. I'm happy to break down problems as much as necessary for you to understand not only the practical solution to the problem but also the principles behind the problem as well.

I favor the Socratic method. Gently guiding you to victory.
