About Fallon

I am an experienced teacher who has previously worked with students ages 4 to college age. I am also a student though who understands the frustrations and needs that may arise as the school year goes on. Even the most experienced people sometimes just need to talk through their work or have the information conveyed to them in unique ways. My lesson plans are individualized to cater to the student and hone in on their strengths and weaknesses in writing. My goal is to give confidence to the students and allow them to ace whatever academic challenges they face.

About the lesson

Credentials:
- I personally scored 4s and 5s on all AP English exams and am confident in my ability to teach those skills further.
- Previous editor-in-chief for the Benjamin Franklin High School Newspaper as well as a copy editor for the Acalanes High School Newspaper.
- Published writer and editor in multiple anthology series.
- Previously employed at the Tulane University Liberal Arts Dean's Office where I edited, revised, and proofread emails to the students.

Tutoring Details
- Flexible schedule (Weekends will cost an extra $5)
- General Tutoring rate: $35/hr
Includes any general English needs from homework to tests. This is great for consistent English needs or a desire for a deeper understanding of the material.
Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Essay Revision rate: $25
Perfect for specific essay needs. Typically shorter sessions, but can be negotiated further. This is for when the student has difficulties during the process or wants to talk through comments.
Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Emergency plan: $20
This is for the essay procrastinator, the student who just needs someone to look at their work and leave comments on the document for them to fix later. Just provide commentary access to the document and forward me the original prompt, and the student's essay will be reviewed within 1-3 hours or the agreed-upon time.
