About Abirami

Hi, I am Abirami Suresh. I am a dedicated commerce professional currently pursuing my Master of Commerce (M.Com) from the University of Madras. I also hold a Bachelor's degree (B.Com) specializing in Information System Management.
Alongside my academic journey, I work actively as an Accounts & Billing Executive. This gives me a unique advantage as a teacher: I don't just teach the theories from the textbook; I know exactly how those concepts are applied in the real corporate world every day.
I have a strong foundation in core financial accounting, corporate finance, taxation, and advanced Excel utilities. Having gone through the rigorous commerce curriculum myself, I understand exactly where students usually struggle—whether it is balancing a tricky balance sheet, understanding economic curves, or calculating cost of capital.
I am highly patient, organized, and passionate about helping students overcome their fear of numbers. I can comfortably communicate and teach in English, Tamil, and Malayalam, making it easier for students to learn in the language they are most comfortable with.

About the lesson

I believe that Finance and Accountancy cannot be learned through rote memorization; they must be understood through logic and real-world application. My classes are structured to make complex commercial concepts simple, engaging, and stress-free.
How I Structure My Classes:
Step-by-Step Breakdown: We start with the absolute fundamentals (like the Golden Rules of Accounting or core economic principles) before moving to complex problems.
Real-World Examples: Leveraging my corporate experience as an Accounts Executive, I explain Financial Management and Finance concepts using real business scenarios and practical Excel sheets.
Interactive Problem Solving: We solve textbook problems, past board/university exam papers, and assignments together during the live session.
Regular Progress Tracking: I conduct short doubt-clearing sessions at the start of every class and provide weekly analytical assignments to test your understanding.
