About Jade
I have always had a love and passion for English and writing. I enjoy being able to work with students with their writing to encourage them with their ideas and brainstorm together. I work with college student-athletes in a 1:1 academic setting to help holistically develop their skills. I can assure that I withhold the highest level of professionalism within our sessions to help increase the odds of success.

- I work to provide holistic development of the student. I want to ensure that the skills we build together can continue even when we no longer work together. - I start with 5-10 minutes of rapport building. I believe it is important for us to have a base outside of the subject that we are actively working on. I then allow you to speak with me about your concerns and what you want to work on. We then develop through there. While it is easy for me to just point out what needs changes, I believe it is beneficial to have you read areas aloud to see if you are able to capture the same things I am. -What sets me apart is that I am actively doing these skills every day in my full-time job. I also supervise around 46 peer tutors that I work hand in hand with to ensure they are properly trained to work with 300+ appointments a semester. -These lessons are ideally for 9th grade-graduate school.
