About Jaymee

I am an ESL teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics: TESOL. I have experience in-person and online teaching ESL classes and tutoring. I have experience working with low-level and intermediate learners from a variety of cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and ages. I have experience with editing and creating resumes.

About the lesson

I not only assist in writing resumes and cover letters, but I also teach skills on formatting and editing that students can use in other areas of writing. I believe that grammar is essential to creating a resume that stands out! My lessons are student-based and centered around the specific needs that students have. I believe that everyone's background is essential to who they are as a person, and I encourage students to bring that to the classroom. I use presentations, visual elements, and student-focused activities to build grammar and vocabulary skills. I prefer to focus on fluency before accuracy to help students become comfortable with English and to encourage students to push forward with their learning.
