I love connecting with people from different backgrounds and helping them learn Tagalog in a fun, practical, and comfortable way. Since English is my second language, I can explain lessons clearly for students who are just starting or want to improve their skills. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where making mistakes is simply part of the learning process. As I work toward earning my college degree, tutoring allows me to support my education while sharing my language and culture with others. About the lesson

Magandang buhay! Ako si Jullienne Christine, a college student and a native Tagalog speaker who has spoken the language for 19 years. Tagalog has been a part of my everyday life since childhood, allowing me to communicate naturally and confidently. Since English is my second language, I can also explain Tagalog concepts in a way that is easier for non-native speakers to understand.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and personalized to each student's learning style and goals. Every lesson begins with a short review, followed by new vocabulary or grammar, pronunciation practice, and real-life conversations that help students use Tagalog naturally. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

What sets me apart is my firsthand experience as a native Tagalog speaker, allowing me to teach authentic expressions, correct pronunciation, and the cultural context behind the language. My lessons are open to beginners, intermediate learners, students, or anyone interested in learning Tagalog for school, or personal growth. No matter your level, I'll help you develop the confidence to understand, speak, read, and write Tagalog with ease.
