About Alison
I am a mathematics major at UNCW. I have been giving lessons to students since I was in high school. I am proud to say that all of my students have preformed exceptionally on their exams and have never received a below-average grade.

My teaching method is to guide my students in reaching a solution on their own, and be there to clear up any confusion as it comes up. I want my students to feel accomplished after a session, and come out with a greater understanding of the topic without lecturing them.

For students in grades K-8, the rate is $18/hour. For students in grades 9-12, the rate is $20/hour. For students in any college-level course, the rate is $22/hour.
Travel costs start at $5. For distances over 10 miles, travel rates may increase.
