About Linda

My name is Linda Navarro and currently teach full-time at University of California Merced. The main topics I teach are precalculus and calculus, however, I also teach arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics. During my spare time, I love being at home with my family and two dogs. I like playing video games, riding my bike, playing the violin, and love to cook. Teaching is my passion because it motivates me when I see my students having their AHA moment. It's the best feeling that any teacher can have.

About the lesson

Spending too much time studying math and it still does not many any sense? I'm here to help you with your needs so the topic(s) you need to study will finally start making sense to you. I am a very patient math professor that loves teaching math. I take all types of questions, including the "simple" ones. I use my tablet white board to show EVERY step. Before moving on to a new problem, I will ensure that you understand every step, so you are able to do a similar problem. Within the steps, I like to explain the reasoning with either definitions or with visuals like graphs. Once you fully understand that problem, we then move on to the next topic. Whether you are in high school or college taking precalculus or calculus, I'm here to help you.
