As a college instructor in graphic design, I bring both academic experience and real-world creativity to every lesson. About the lesson

As a college instructor and native Chinese speaker, my teaching approach centers on real-life communication and cultural relevance. I design lessons around realistic life situations—such as travel, business, dining, or daily conversations—to help students gain practical language skills. I emphasize speaking and listening in context, while also integrating reading and writing to build a well-rounded foundation.

My teaching method and techniques:
I use interactive methods, including role-playing, dialogue practice, and multimedia resources. I adapt my techniques based on the student’s learning style and proficiency level, making each session engaging and effective.

A typical lesson plan:
Each lesson begins with a brief review, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary and grammar within a themed context (e.g., booking a hotel, having a business meeting). Then we move into speaking and listening practice, finishing with a short writing or reading activity. Homework and optional practice materials are tailored to reinforce what we covered.
