About Amy
When tutoring my students, my sole purpose is to help them achieve their academic goals and to create an environment that is safe and supportive. Because I have worked as a substitute teacher, behavior technician, paraprofessional, and lead of the district's after-school program, I have learned the importance of building a rapport with my students in a professional manner, and giving them the freedom to ask questions or try new things. I do not teach at my students. I work with them.

When finding the perfect teacher/tutor, you need someone who has a wide variety of skill and experience. I am a certified substitute teacher, but I have also helped students with their homework assignments and lead STEAM infused curriculum in our district's after school program. I have assisted in multiple classrooms with students of all ages and levels. I believe every student is capable of achieving their goals with the right help.
