About Paige
I am a college graduate that has been tutoring for over 5 years. I have experience tutoring both elementary and middle aged students in all subjects, but I have most of my experience in ELA and Math. I have tutored over 20 students in a variety of subjects, and my students I have worked with have seen an improvement in their reading and writing skills as well as their math skills.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia College and State University. My degree required me to conduct research, write research papers, and strategically collect and analyze data. I took multiple courses in statistics and precalculus and I took classes based on the development and learning of children and adolescents.
My teaching method invokes excitement and motivation in learning. I create original and attractive lesson plans that will simultaneously engage and teach the student. I focus heavily on praising students when they make progress in a difficult content area. I require students to explain content back to me so that they understand the why behind every answer. I begin each lesson with a learning game to start off on a positive note, and I end with asking the student to tell me at least three things that they learned during the lesson.
