About James
I have been giving lessons since my Senior year in High School (Graduated 2012). Most of my lessons taught have been on trumpet, however I am opening up to other instruments because I have experience teaching them as part of my student teaching requirements.
My students can expect a teacher who is prepared, on time, and willing to go above and beyond for the sake of the student's success.

I am a college Graduate of the College of Saint Rose and I majored in Music Education. I am offering private lessons on multiple instruments as needed. I studied trumpet at a College level and have completed my senior performance. As part of my College degree I have completed and passed my student teaching.
I am offering Trumpet lessons - Any age, skill level and preparation for any performance, NYSSMA and college auditions.
All other instrumental lessons offered are at a beginner level.
Music Theory tutoring is also being offered - in preparation for AP testing.

Trumpet Lessons and Music Theory
30 Mins - 25 (at home) 30 for travel.
45 Mins - 40 (at home) 45 for travel
60 Mins - 50 (at home) 55 for travel.
All other Instrumental Lessons
30 mins - 20 Bucks
45 Mins - 30 Bucks
60 Mins - 45 Bucks
I charge less for other instrumental lessons because I am using these lessons as an opportunity to improve my teaching skills on instruments that are not my primary instruments. These lessons are best for elementary and middle school students.
I do supply many supplies at no additional cost.
