About Jordyn
Hey everyone! I am Jordyn, a full time college athlete at the Chicago State University with an anticipated graduation date May 2021. I understand that school can be difficult and I just want to help wherever I can. In the past I have done math tutoring and English tutoring. I also part time nanny and a constantly helping with homework when I’m there. I developed good tutoring habits from attending an after school learning program in middle school and also have worked wit here at tutors during my time in college. I have very flexible hours too and am easy to work with!

My teaching method is really dependent on the subject and also I try various methods because all students do not learn the same. With writing, I typically will have the student write their assignment first and then I will go through and edit with them that way they can understand how to improve. With math, I will take a slower approach to see how much the student understands so that I can know where to go from there I try to be very detailed so that students can get the most out of their time with me and I truly want to see everyone be successful!

Details
My rate is based off purely the time. I will not limit a student to only ask me math questions if they have other subject they need help in. For me, I want them to know they can ask me any questions for any subjects and we will just use the time to work on whatever we can in that hour. I also price based off of the distance I drive. Further distances will cost more.
