I introduce programming by helping students understand how computers think. Once this idea feels natural, writing code becomes far less intimidating. We start with simple logic and small exercises that teach students how to give clear instructions. Then we move into Python for structured problem-solving, SQL for understanding data, JavaScript for interactive logic, Java for strong fundamentals, and MATLAB for numerical modeling.
I also teach video game programming, where young learners bring their creativity to life by building movement, scoring systems, simple animations, and character interactions. Every time a student gets stuck, I pause, explain the concept again gently, and walk them through the logic until the error becomes a learning moment.
Coding becomes a calm, enjoyable experience—something students look forward to, not fear.
