I am a clinical psychology trainee, currently working on my dissertation too. I chose psychology because I wanted to be impactful, and make someone feel heard. I have a background in economics and psychology, so I am interested in behavioral economics too.

My psychology prof in my undergrad taught in a way that I was on the verge of not taking it up further. I understand how challenging it might be to learn psychology without the constant self analysis. That's where you need someone who's there for you alongside the classes.
