About Prarthana

I am a postgraduate in Clinical Psychology with a strong academic background and practical exposure through clinical internships and research experience. I am passionate about helping students understand Psychology in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way.

My academic training has given me a solid understanding of psychological theories, research methods, assessment, counseling, and clinical concepts. I also have experience working with psychological concepts in practical settings, which allows me to connect classroom learning with real-life examples.

As a tutor, I believe every student has a different learning style. I therefore adapt my explanations and teaching pace according to each student's needs. My goal is not just to help students score well, but also to develop their understanding, confidence, and genuine interest in Psychology.

Students can expect a friendly, patient, and professional learning environment where questions are encouraged and concepts are explained without unnecessary complexity. Whether you need help with individual topics, exam preparation, assignments, or building a stronger foundation in Psychology, I aim to make learning comfortable and effective.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and focused on making Psychology simple and interesting. I explain concepts using clear language, real-life examples, case-based discussions, and practical applications so that students can understand ideas rather than simply memorise them.

I usually structure each class by first briefly reviewing the previous topic, introducing the new concept, explaining it step-by-step, and then using examples or questions to check understanding. I also encourage students to ask questions and actively participate throughout the session. For exam-oriented learning, I can provide guidance on important concepts, answer writing, revision, and preparation strategies.

As a postgraduate in Clinical Psychology, I bring both academic and practical exposure to my teaching. I particularly focus on connecting psychological theories with everyday behaviour and real-world situations, which helps make the subject easier to understand and remember.

My classes are suitable for school and college students studying Psychology, undergraduate Psychology students, and learners who want additional support in understanding basic psychological concepts. I can adapt the pace, depth, and teaching style according to the student's level, learning needs,
