About Lisa

I am a clinical nutritionist, with qualifications in psychology and am also a trained chef. My specialties are nutrition for mental health, and gut health, allergies, special dietary needs and nutrigenomics.

I hold a BSc with Honours in Nutrition and Psychology, a certificate in cor don Bleu cookery, I studied an advanced diploma in the neuroscience of leadership, have completed subjects on social determinants of health from a policy perspective, did my dissertation on ADD/ADHD and my research Honours on Stress and Eating behaviour. I am a certified DNA practitioner and worked with over 300 clients to understand the relationship between diet, environment and gene expression.

I have run a specialised meal delivery company and developed over 200 special recipes to accommodate people with various special dietary needs.

I have extensive experience working with people living with addiction, cancer, disordered eating, allergies, gut health issues or anxiety and depression.

I have written a book about people's relationship with food and how it impacts their life and weight.

I would love to help you get great results for others.

About the lesson

Each lesson is interactive and runs for an hour.
We discuss the different phases of the client/patient journey and how to maximise your results for your patient.

We will cover topics like: building rapport, assessments, meal planning, special dietary needs, nutrient difficiencies and their consequences, behaviour change.

There will also be opportunity for you to bring lesson requests forward to cover topics of interest or that you hope to master.

I have lectured on the subjects of: Food as Medicine and Lifespan Nutrition at university level. I have a cert IV in training and assessment. I have 17 years clinical experience and have completed studies in neuroscience, and psychology so can help you discover how to understand and change behavior. I also have extensive experience with DNA testing.

Lessons will suit recent graduates or clinicians who work with more complex clients and would like strategies to improve engagement, adherence and results.
